Kris Allen-Season 8 American Idol Winner!
Remaining humble throughout the season, the shocking results of last nights American Idol season finale were even a shock to the winner. Kris Allen is this season’s winner. Everyone, including the judges, thought that Adam Lambert from California would win by a landslide. However, never underestimate an Arkansan. Kris has remained true to who he is throughout the show, even helping others along the way, and has looked to remain grounded. He has proven his talent week after week with his folksy voice and his instrumental talent behind a piano or a guitar. No one has been more deserving of winning something as special. Congratulations!
